Media Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Foretoken's freelance media correspondence services. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services as a freelance journalism contractor specializing in the crypto/blockchain industry. By contracting our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2. Services Offered

We offer a range of freelance media services including, but not limited to, written articles, event coverage, video production, photography, podcast production, interviews, social media content creation. Specific services to be provided will be outlined in the project agreement or contract.

3. Contracting Clients

Potential clients may contract our services via email or through the Foretoken website. Each project will be governed by a specific agreement detailing the scope of work, deadlines, deliverables, and compensation.

4. Compensation


Our services will be based on the type and scope of the work contracted. Rates and payment terms will be specified in the individual contract or agreement. Payments are due within 30 days of invoice, unless otherwise specified. 

5. Intellectual Property


Unless otherwise agreed in writing, I retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in any content created, including articles, videos, photos, and audio recordings. Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for their specified purposes.

6. Confidentiality


I commit to maintaining the confidentiality of any sensitive information disclosed during the course of my work. Confidential information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.

7. Cancellation Policy


Should a client need to cancel a contracted service, notification must be given at least 7 days in advance. Cancellation fees may apply as outlined in the contract. Foretoken reserves the right to cancel a contract at any time.  

8. Liability


We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. While we strive to provide accurate and high-quality content, we do not guarantee that all information provided is without error.

9. Amendment of Terms


These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.

10. Governing Law


These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of the State of Texas, United States, and any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the Williamson County magistrate of the courts of the State of Texas, United States.

11. Travel Expenses

Each contract will include itemized travel expenses that can include, but are not limited to, airline tickets, ground transportation, hotel, food, and other similar expenses necessary for event coverage. Due to the nature of covering media events, the client will be required to submit an order for event coverage not less than 30 days before the event.
